Rehearsals
The new season will begin on Monday, September 14, for the Youth Symphony at Faith Baptist Church* in Prosperity. The Youth Symphony rehearsal is at 6:45-8:15 pm. Youth Symphony students, please arrive by 6:30. New students, please come between 6:00 and 6:30 to register. The audition procedure is described below.
The Youth Chorus will meet at Faith Baptist Church* in Prosperity. The first rehearsal will be on Monday, September 28. The Youth Chorus rehearsal is at 5:30-6:30 pm.
Regular Monday rehearsals for the Youth Chorus & Youth Symphony will continue throughout the season, except for November 23.
Emerging Strings will meet at Fayetteville Christ Fellowship Church** for rehearsal on Mondays throughout the season. The first rehearsal will be on Monday, September 28. Emerging Strings will rehearse at 5:30-6:30 pm.
The concert will be at 7:00 pm on Monday, December 7, at Faith Baptist Church* in Prosperity, with a snow date of December 14.
Auditions
For the fall season 2026, all new and returning students will audition for seating placement according to the following schedule. Please come to the rehearsal every week, even if you have not had your placement audition yet.
Week 1 - September 14 - 5:30-6:00 Violin 1 & Concertmaster, 6:00-6:30 Violin 2
Week 2 - September 21 - 5:30-6:00 Viola & Cello, 6:00-6:30 Flute & Clarinet
Week 3 - September 28 - 5:30-6:00 Saxes, 6:00-6:30 Trumpet, Horn, Low Brass

West Virginia’s Hope Scholarship empowers families to make school choices that are right for their educational needs. The Hope Scholarship program offers qualifying West Virginia’s K-12 students an opportunity to build an individual learning experience that works best for them instead of attending public school full-time. The scholarship allows K-12 students to receive financial assistance that can be used for tuition, homeschool curriculum, and other qualifying expenses.
