Rehearsals will take place at Oak Hill High School every Monday evening from September 10 to December 3. November 19 is Thanksgiving week; there will be no rehearsal that day.

  • Monday September 10 Auditions
    • 5:45-7:00 Regular Rehearsal - Chorus
    • 7:00-8:30 Regular Rehearsal - Symphony
  • Monday September 24 Last day for Late Auditions
  • Monday October 1 Tuition money due
  • Monday November 19 No rehearsal

  • Monday July 16 Deadline for signing up for Solo & Ensemble Competition
  • Saturday August 11 NRYSC Family Picnic, Bradley Camp
  • Thursday December 6 - 7:00 p.m. Concert, Historic Fayette Theatre, Chorus & Symphony
  • Saturday December 8 - 2:00 p.m. Concert, Tamarack, Chorus & Symphony Chamber Groups
  • Monday March 3, 2008 - 5:30 p.m. Auditions for the Spring 2008 season

string cards

All members of the New River Youth Symphony and Chorus have free admission via "string cards" to the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra Symphonic Series, Family Discovery Series, and Montclaire String Quartet concerts.
